winter organics bin feast


It's fun trying to make meals out of our winter organics bin. Root veggies help a lot and this week we had some beautiful beets and turnips. I roasted those with some sweet potatoes, olive oil, pepper, and sea salts. Then cooked up a mix of pesto chicken sausage, greens, red onion, carrots, and garlic. As a treat on the side I put organic orange and kiwi. Winter? what winter!
